BIP Wealth Named to Financial Times 2018 List of 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers
ATLANTA — June 28, 2018 – BIP Wealth (formerly Buckhead Investment Partners), one of the Southeast’s leading wealth management firms, is pleased to announce that it has been named to the 2018 edition of the Financial Times’s 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers (RIA). The list recognizes top independent RIA firms from across the United States.
This is the fifth annual FT 300 list, produced independently by the Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of FT that provides business intelligence on the asset management industry.
“We’re honored and delighted that our firm has been recognized by Financial Times,” said Bill Harris, co-founder of BIP Wealth. “We’re dedicated to partnering with our clients to help them reach their financial goals and it’s a privilege to be recognized for our work by such an esteemed, industry-leading news organization.”
BIP Wealth is a fee-only registered investment advisory firm located in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. The firm oversees more than $850 million in investment assets for its clients and delivers highly tailored wealth management services for successful professionals, business managers, corporate executives, professional athletes and those planning for or already enjoying retirement.
RIA firms that met a minimum set of criteria applied for consideration for the FT 300 list. Applicants were then graded on six factors: assets under management (AUM); AUM growth rate; years in existence; advanced industry credentials of the firm’s advisers; online accessibility; and compliance records. There are no fees or other considerations required of RIAs that apply for the FT 300.
The FT 300 represents an impressive group of elite RIA firms, as the “average” practice in this year’s list has been in existence for over 22 years and manages $4 billion in assets. The FT 300 Top RIAs hail from 38 states and Washington, D.C.
The FT 300 is one in a series of rankings of top advisers by the Financial Times that also includes the FT 401 (DC retirement plan advisers) and the FT 400 (broker-dealer advisers).
