As a former professional baseball player for 10 years, including 4 in the majors, John loves being involved with current and former players; it scratches his itch to stay involved in the game! But more importantly, he loves the impact BIP has on the players and their families. Since baseball is a unique road to which most people cannot relate, it is important that BIP exists, is full of people who have been in the players’ shoes, and know the steps needed to put these players in an excellent position to succeed financially.
When not working, John enjoys spending time with his family. His daughters are involved in various activities, such as volleyball, swimming, and dance, so they keep him busy throughout the week. When he does get a break, John loves to pick up a book. He’s not genre specific; his only criteria is it has to be interesting. He’ll take anything from history, to biographies, and even the occasional novel. He also enjoys escaping the heat of Scottsdale by heading into northern Arizona on long weekends to visit various small towns with his wife, Kristina, to whom he has been happily married for over 10 years, and 2 daughters, with another little girl on the way (due Dec 2023)!
