BIP Wealth Once Again on the Short List

Financial Times Top 300 Registered Investment Advisers

For the fourth consecutive year, BIP Wealth was recognized by Financial Times in its annual list of the top 300 Registered Investment Advisers in the US. The FT 300 list is produced independently by the Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of FT that provides business intelligence on the asset management industry. Six criteria were considered for the award: assets under management, asset growth rate, years in existence, advanced industry certifications of the firm’s advisers, online accessibility, and compliance records.

The Financial Times is careful not to represent the list as a competitive ranking, but rather as a group of elite advisers with consideration given for differing approaches and specializations. Nevertheless, inclusion on the list is noteworthy due to the eligible group of advisers surpassing 2,000 and the criteria for inclusion weighted in favor of traits desirable to investors.

“Our presence once again on the FT 300 list is indicative of the hard work, stewardship, and dedication our firm strives to deliver to our clients,” emphasized Bill Harris, BIP Wealth co-founder. “We are particularly proud to be included as one of only fifteen firms in Georgia that made the list.”

Intentionally Different

Several important factors that further distinguish BIP Wealth from many other advisers were not included in the Financial Times assessment. Those factors include BIP’s fee-only model, which aligns with its philosophy to reduce potential conflicts of interest; and its investing methodology, which is based on Nobel Prize-winning economic theory.

Perhaps BIP Wealth’s most distinguishing characteristic in a competitive field is its access to private market investment opportunities. Indeed, BIP Wealth was founded in part to provide private investment opportunities to investors who otherwise would have difficulty diversifying their portfolios outside of the public markets. That kind of access to the private market, combined with factors mentioned previously, have accelerated the growth and reputation that helped BIP Wealth once again secure a position on the FT 300 list.
