New BIP Wealth clients often onboard with Mark Parker, and it’s work he loves. In that moment, your journey to find expert help is ending and a new relationship is beginning. “There is often a moment in the onboarding of a new client when you can tell they relax,” Mark says. “Dealing with personal investments often involves a degree of angst, and that’s why we do what we do. It is so rewarding to see a client’s countenance change and you know they trust you.”
As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, Mark assists BIP’s clients as they consider the sale or purchase of a business and in succession planning for family businesses.
Mark joined BIP Wealth in 2019, bringing with him his deep experience in the Atlanta business community and service to others. He spent three decades in commercial real estate, working with investors, their advisors and banks. Mark has worked with everyone from high net worth donors to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
Mark and Susie, his wife of 37 years, have two adult children. The couple lives in Atlanta’s Briarcliff Woods neighborhood and are active at Grace Midtown Church where he serves on the board. Mark has previously served on a number of boards including Charityvest, a nonprofit donor advised fund; the Brookhaven Boys Club; and the Georgia Tech FCA.
During football season, Mark remains close to the action at his alma mater Georgia Tech and for the Atlanta Falcons. He works on the sideline for their home games and volunteers with the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
