Jeremy Hermida

Business Development Officer|  Outfielder | 14-year professional baseball career

Having Jim Poole as one of his personal and professional mentors for 7+ years, Jeremy always knew in his heart of hearts that the BIP Wealth Baseball Division was his home. With his deep admiration and firsthand knowledge of the importance of having exquisite financial advice and guidance for players and their families, Jeremy considers his current role both an honor and a calling. BIP is in a class of its own when it comes to client care and expertise, and he is thrilled to be a part of the team.

Jeremy had the life privilege of living out a 14-year professional MLB career, with 6 of those years being in the Big Leagues. Work ethic plus a deeply rooted passion, baseball runs through Jeremy to his core. From his childhood, to professional livelihood, to his current season of life now as “Coach Jeremy” for his son’s rec and travel ball teams—shaping today’s youth to play the game the right way—it is such a unique circumstance and window of opportunity that very few truly get to experience both sides entirely. Baseball has taken him all over the world while “in it” and then allowed him to stay at home when he was “out of it” with his young children during their formidable years.

Jeremy would describe himself as a simple guy with a solid foundation…give him good food, ESPN, his family and friends, and an intriguing business conversation, and he’s all set. Although he’s not able to get in nearly as many golf rounds as he’d like during this current season of life, being a dad and being able to combine his love of the game with his intense respect for the financial world has set a new fire within him.

Jeremy lives in the Dunwoody area with his wife of 12 years, Lindsey, their 8 year old son, and their 6 year old daughter—who are in more combined sports and activities than their ages added together! They recently completed their family with their 6 month old sweet baby girl. Jeremy, born and raised in Marietta, went and married a northern Jersey girl, so you can find them splitting their summer vacations between the south and the north.
