George has more than 15 years of experience as an investment strategist, specializing in portfolio solutions and manager due diligence for financial advisors, home offices, and bank trusts. Prior to joining Red Tortoise, George was at Envestnet, where he served as a voting member of the asset allocation team, built proprietary model strategies, and maintained consultant relations with financial advisors. Before that, he was a portfolio manager at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, conducting due diligence on investment managers across the Wilmington Private Funds, Wilmington Multi-Manager Mutual Funds, consulting clients, and separate accounts.
Beyond his professional work, George is an active volunteer with the CFA Institute and previously served as President of CFA Society Atlanta, the local member society with more than 1,600 members. He also serves on the Strategic Advisory Board of Atlanta Celebrates Photography and previously served as its Treasurer.
